Feeling lost, heartbroken, and without a home, Melanie seeks solace in Derwin's competitor, Trey Wiggs. After they spend the night together, Trey proposes financial help to Melanie, forcing her to contemplate whether to accept his offer. At the same time, Jason finds himself in conflict with the new coach, Jason Lee, following the sale of the Sabers football team to new owners.
