When Melanie accepts Derwin's invitation for dinner, he begins orchestrating a surprise proposal with the assistance of R&B artist Musiq Soulchild. However, everything unravels when Melanie witnesses Derwin sharing a kiss with Drew at the Music Video Awards. Convinced that Derwin has betrayed her once more, a tipsy Melanie seeks revenge by attempting to hook up with Malik.
