Garfield bites into a terrible pizza from Mama Meany's Pizza Palace, the rival eatery run by Mama Meany, who is determined to put Vito out of business with her enticing coupons, contests, and discounts. Her ambition includes expanding her restaurant to overshadow Vito's. To counter this, Garfield enlists food critic Eddie Gourmand to taste-test pizzas from both places. The comparison leads to a downfall for Mama Meany and a resurgence of success for Vito’s pizzeria.
