Barry makes the football team, but his lack of skills leads Coach Mellor to sideline him almost immediately. Convinced that the coach is putting him to the test, Barry struggles until Adam steps in to help him see that he can still play a valuable role in other ways. Meanwhile, Beverly creates a line of jackets and attempts to enlist Murray and Erica to sell them after a national TV network declines to pick them up.
