Against Beverly's wishes, Jackie’s parents let Adam watch "A Nightmare on Elm Street," sparking a conflict between the two families. In the midst of this, Beverly has a dream where she confronts the infamous Freddy Krueger, leading her to a deeper understanding of her son’s connection with Jackie. Meanwhile, Erica comes to terms with her dwindling popularity as she spends time at William Penn Academy, even though she's no longer a student there.
