Duke Slate, the mob's "Protection" Boss, sets his sights on taking over the local Asian businesses and enlists the help of Low Sing's gang to extend his reach. Low Sing, a skilled martial artist, teaches his crew by demonstrating the precise movements of a caged Preying Mantis, drawing parallels to the techniques of Kung-Fu. Following a kidnapping orchestrated by Low Sing, a confrontation between him and Kato leads to an unexpected outcome.
