Following yet another murder, Simon Neal, the publisher and owner of the Daily Express, is targeted by the fake Green Hornet. In the second part, Britt Reid enlists the help of Dan Scully, a former employee of the Daily Express, to look into Simon's firing. They learn from Sabrina Bradley, the paper’s Managing Editor, that a copy of Black Beauty was created for the Press Club's Masquerade Ball. With her assistance, the genuine Green Hornet sets a clever trap to uncover the truth.
