S1E10 Loyalties
Nick takes on the case of an Arab American restaurateur who has fallen victim to a hate crime. Wendy Moniz from "Nash Bridges" and James B. Sikking from "Brooklyn South" make guest appearances. As Nick collaborates with his new supervisor at Legal Aid, Louisa "LuLu" Archer (Moniz), they confront a challenging situation involving the destruction of the restaurant owned by the Arab-American and his young daughter. The case becomes even more complex when they discover that the perpetrator, who was severely beaten in self-defense by the restaurant owner, is actually a teenage boy.
