Meanwhile, at Fallin & Fallin, Nick believes bringing a criminal defense attorney onto the team is essential, as he feels Burton should focus more on the firm than on Shannon. Nick grows concerned about James's emotional involvement with Taliek Allen, especially since James suspects Taliek may have killed his nephew, Levi. Additionally, Lulu contemplates leaving LSP for a position in California, which worries Nick, as he fears losing her affection.
