Honoka Mitsui and Shizuku Kitayama start their journey at First High. After catching a glimpse of Miyuki during the entrance exams, Honoka feels an instant admiration for her and is thrilled when they unexpectedly become friends. She also holds Tatsuya in high regard for his magical talent but is taken aback to learn he is in Course 2. This revelation sparks her curiosity about the distinctions between Course 1 and Course 2 students.
