Title: A Coin of Fate: 48 Days at Sea Plot: Satake Hirofumi, a typical office worker, embarks on a cruise with his business associate, Kito Joji. Their voyage takes a tragic turn when a whale collides with their ship, leaving it in ruins. The two men manage to escape in a lifeboat, only to find themselves lost in the vast Pacific Ocean. With dwindling supplies and no fresh water, their survival becomes increasingly desperate. The only item Satake clings to is a lucky coin pendant given to him by his fiancée, Negishi Chie, which symbolizes hope amid their dire circumstances.
