Doug deceives Carrie into believing he has to work late so he can enjoy a game of mud football and skip her seminar. After a night of playing in the rain, he falls ill and settles down in front of the TV, gradually dozing off. Overwhelmed by guilt, Doug decides to come clean about his evening. However, when he finally reveals the truth to Carrie, her response surprises him in ways he didn’t anticipate.
