Episode Overview
With Arthur back from the hospital, Carrie proposes that she and Doug should get life insurance to ensure Arthur's well-being in case anything happens to them. This idea takes Doug by surprise, as he never considered the responsibility of caring for Arthur without Carrie. When Doug discovers that Carrie has picked up smoking again, he becomes convinced she's trying to leave him with Arthur. They lose sight of their original purpose for the insurance and need Arthur to remind them of reality. Meanwhile, Doug and Carrie set up an "Arthur cam" to keep an eye on him in the basement, much to the amusement of Deacon, Spence, and Danny, who become hooked on watching the mundane moments of Arthur's life on "Arthur TV."
