Episode Overview

Carrie realizes that she and Doug haven't been dedicating enough time to appreciate their relationship, so she organizes a romantic evening to celebrate the anniversary of their first date. Coincidentally, Deacon has planned a group getaway to Atlantic City for that same weekend, hoping Doug and Carrie will come along with him, Kelly, and some colleagues. However, upon checking into the hotel, Doug and Carrie discover that the entire group has backed out, leaving only Doug's boss, O'Boyle, as their companion. Later that weekend, Deacon arrives and reveals that after a fight, Kelly took the kids and left him.
