Episode Overview

Carrie scores tickets to the opera, but Doug isn’t interested in attending. To avoid going, he enlists Deacon's help to fabricate an excuse. However, Carrie catches him in the act, leading Doug to reveal a string of other lies he’s been telling. He admits that he’s been dishonest because he feels overwhelmed by her controlling nature. They both decide to be more "supportive" of each other, but their good intentions only create further complications in their relationship.
