The partners at Carrie’s law firm are impressed by Doug’s talent on the softball field and urge him to masquerade as a lawyer to join their team. Carrie is skeptical about his ability to convincingly play the role, but Doug surprises everyone with his performance, even attracting a job offer from a rival firm. Meanwhile, Arthur dives into his family history and comes to the unsettling realization that his great-grandfather may have been a slave owner. Determined to make amends, he sets out to reconcile this past with Deacon on behalf of his ancestor.
