Scooter, an enthusiastic young boy, seeks a position as a go-fer. Kermit jokingly points out that Scooter doesn’t resemble a gopher at all. In response, Scooter enthusiastically promises to fetch coffee, sandwiches, and anything else needed. Kermit hesitates, stating he can't afford to hire anyone. However, Scooter quickly adds that his uncle is the theater owner, which piques Kermit's interest.
