Rizzo and his rat companions pester Kermit for a role in the performance, prompting Kermit to enlist Beauregard for help. Misinterpreting Kermit's request, Beau welcomes the rats as guests instead. The crafty rodents quickly elevate Beau to their leader, coercing him into providing them with food. They gain confidence and plot to seize control of the show. Kermit insists that Beau must evict them, or he will leave as well. Initially siding with his new rat pals, Beau eventually sees the light thanks to Miss Piggy’s wise counsel.
