A courier arrives with news from the anticipated guest star, Benny Brillstein, the Yiddish yodeler, who declines to appear on the show. In a bind, Kermit turns to Chris, the messenger, and invites him to take Benny's place. Chris has a knack for humor, so Kermit introduces him as the evening's comedian.
