S1E6 Peleliu Airfield

Battling intense 115-degree heat and scarce clean water, Sledge, Leckie, and their fellow Marines face a heavily fortified adversary while striving to seize the Peleliu airfield. Following the severe injuries suffered by his comrades, Leckie is ultimately wounded and airlifted from the island. Meanwhile, Sledge is confronted with the harsh reality of the lengths one must go to endure and continue fighting in such dire circumstances.
