Julia Massini, who has turned her life around, now manages a reputable boarding house in North Fork. However, her former life as a card shark comes back to haunt her when Sid Fallon begins to blackmail her. He demands that she allow him to convert her boarding house into a saloon and gambling hall, threatening to expose her shady history if she refuses.
