Dr. Emmet Cole, an adventurer and beloved TV host, disappears in the heart of the Amazon. After a thorough search yields no results, his family and friends gather to hold a memorial service for him. While Tess, his wife, grapples with the harsh truth of her husband's presumed death, their son, Lincoln, is eager to put the past behind them. Six months later, a mysterious signal from Emmet's location beacon prompts Tess and Lincoln to team up with Emmet's film crew for a daring expedition into the Amazon in hopes of finding him alive.
