While Dutch follows a promising lead in the hunt for the serial killer, Aceveda finds himself confronted by a reporter whose inquiries bring to light issues he believed were long resolved. Meanwhile, Vic steps in to help Connie as she struggles to quit crack cold-turkey in a frantic effort to retain custody of her son. This leaves the remaining members of the Strike Team to tackle a strip-club mugging operation without their usual support.
