Mackey attempts to assist an old friend in locating a troubled teen, but their search takes a dark turn when they discover the missing youth has been caught up in a violent shoot-out. At the same time, Shane is in the field with his new partner, Army, showing him the ropes of dubious police methods and testing his limits to maintain their partnership. Meanwhile, Aceveda is determined to undermine Vic on his final day, complicating matters for Rawling as she steps into his role.
