Monica tasks Vic with tracking down an escaped fugitive in Farmington, pushing him to demonstrate his value while adhering to the rules. Meanwhile, Claudette grows wary of the D.A.'s intentions when she and Dutch investigate a significant drug dealer, only to discover he is a relatively minor player. David looks for a way to cope with the painful emotions stemming from his assault. In the meantime, Vic chooses to bring Shane in tighter as his concerns about Shane's ties to Antwon Mitchell intensify.
