A lead from Lemonhead's juvenile facility sends Vic and Monica on a mission to dismantle a significant heroin ring linked to Antwon Mitchell. Meanwhile, Monica faces ongoing challenges from Aceveda as she works to promote her new policies within the community, leading Julien to question her approach. Claudette starts to lose faith in Dutch when she suspects he may have struck a clandestine agreement with the D.A. Additionally, Shane and Army find themselves in a precarious situation with Antwon, who holds them responsible for Vic's heroin operation takedown.
