After his invigorating trip to northern England, Henry is filled with renewed energy and yearns for his new Queen, oblivious to the fact that her heart lies with someone else. Meanwhile, Katherine’s previous relationship resurfaces when an old flame seeks employment and hints at exposing their intimate past. Before he can act, an anonymous letter reaches the King, accusing Katherine of infidelity. Though Henry doubts the claims, he decides to keep Katherine confined to her chambers while a comprehensive inquiry is conducted.
