Jake takes his father, Martin, to a pawn shop, but their visit is interrupted by a robbery that sets off a chain of unexpected occurrences. This incident intertwines the lives of a troubled flight attendant in New York, a son from India who has come to scatter his father's ashes, a middle school magician in Moscow, a cancer patient also in New York, and a mobster in the Bronx. Now, it's up to Jake and Martin to uncover how all these stories are connected.
