After meeting a homeless man who shares Jake's passion for numbers, Martin embarks on a journey filled with seemingly disconnected assignments. These tasks intertwine the plight of an abused African woman, a group of young boys preparing for a dance competition, and a lively woman at the renowned Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. At the same time, Teller drops by Jake's board-and-care facility, stirring up strong emotions for Clea.
