Martin encounters a young man connected to his late wife, Sarah. Meanwhile, a couple running an online instrument repair service collaborates with an Iraqi heavy metal band, which has a teenage fan eager to showcase his comedic skills to an American soldier stationed in Baghdad. However, the soldier faces her own challenges when her convoy is attacked, compelling her to seek refuge in the Iraqi desert. In a different storyline, a lottery winner stumbles upon a pastor who is struggling with deep feelings of sadness.
