While Charlie Burns attends a Police Conference, Woodrow Burns steps in to oversee the rest of the Burns Family. Unbeknownst to them, he also leads the Rescue Bots team, but his unusual rainforest-inspired cooking causes some trouble. After Woodrow devises a successful rescue plan to save Mayor Luskey's boat, the mayor appoints him as the acting police chief. Woodrow then assists the Rescue Bots when some beacons intended to enhance the Dolphin Wonder Festival accidentally trap dolphins in Griffin Rock's wetlands.
