In a flashback, we learn about Tiger's beginnings. According to the tale, she was once a mermaid. One day, the wicked sea tyrant, Bubble Grandpa, ordered her to fetch a hamburger. Using his magical powers, he transformed Tiger, giving her legs so she could venture onto land. Embracing her new life, Tiger fell in love with the world above the waves. With the assistance of her friend, Uncle Grandpa, she managed to defeat the malevolent sea ruler and earned the chance to keep her legs forever.
