S2E1 The Melancholy Countess

After a despondent Hungarian Countess is found submerged in her opulent hotel suite's bathtub, her death appears to be a suicide. The focus shifts to her psychoanalyst, Max Liebermann, who finds himself under a harsh spotlight. Officer Oskar Rheinhardt joins forces with Max to unravel the mystery surrounding the Countess's demise and to protect Max's standing in his profession.
