In the impoverished neighborhoods of Vienna, a homeless girl stumbles upon a disfigured body. The secret police caution Oskar that the case falls outside the jurisdiction of the Leopoldstadt precinct. Despite their warnings, Oskar is drawn in when he starts receiving anonymous notes connected to the murder, compelling him to dig deeper into the mystery.
