In 1965, the skies above North Vietnam erupt with the fury of Operation Rolling Thunder, while the first contingent of U.S. ground forces sets foot in the South. As American troops engage in the Ia Drang Valley, they find themselves facing overwhelming enemy numbers in the war’s inaugural significant clash.
