During a news segment, Alex learns that Mason, now in wolf form, is held captive by a group of country wizards in the Poconos Mountains. These wizards demand Alex's portal in exchange for Mason's freedom. Upon her arrival, Alex finds out that they have altered Mason into a half-wolf state. Faced with this new reality, Alex grapples with the challenge of accepting Mason's transformation and the potential embarrassment it may bring, all while striving to rescue him and preserve their bond.
