The X-Mansion is under reconstruction, with Forge leading the efforts and Angel financing the project. Emma Frost arrives, offering her assistance by utilizing Cerebro to find Professor Xavier. Her search proves fruitful as she discovers a comatose Xavier in Genosha, where Magneto is caring for him. Back at the mansion, the X-Men receive a telepathic warning from Xavier, who is reaching out from 20 years in the future. He reveals that the Sentinels have ravaged the world and urges Wolverine to take charge of the X-Men to prevent this grim future from unfolding.
