Professor Xavier alerts the X-Men to an imminent catastrophe that threatens to annihilate half of the mutant population: Nitro is set to explode in Genosha. Meanwhile, the Brotherhood forcibly frees Nitro from a government facility, using Psylocke to manipulate him for their own agenda, intending to turn him into a weapon. The X-Men pursue the Brotherhood, determined to stop the devastation of Genosha.
