The mayor of Animal Town has organized a Tsuchinoko Tracking Competition, and Komugi and her friends are excited to participate. As they search for any signs of the elusive creature, Mey Mey decides to visit the Niko-sama egg. However, in a clumsy moment, she accidentally lets it slip from her hands and sends it tumbling down a slope.
