Inspired, Team Sohoku decides to tackle the remainder of the race with a fresh perspective. Meanwhile, Midousuji from Kyoto Fushimi, having faced defeat, starts devising a new plan for the second day’s race. As the sun rises on day two, Hakone Academy's Shinkai Yuto approaches Sakamichi, saying, "Let's race sometime today."
