The fully united Hakone Academy team picks up speed, while Naruko disregards Imaizumi's commands and pursues them solo! Later, Teshima catches up with Imaizumi and Sakamichi, but struggles to quicken his pace. Suddenly, Kishigami Komari and the rest of Kyoto Fushimi surge past Sohoku! Frustrated with himself, Imaizumi harshly reprimands Teshima, feeling a painful crack in his heart. Meanwhile, Hakone Academy and Kyoto Fushimi charge into the sprint, setting the stage for a showdown between Izumida and Midousuji... only for an unexpected figure to make an entrance!
