Plot

In "A Muppet Family Christmas," Fozzie Bear delights his mother with a surprise visit on Christmas Eve, bringing along the whole Muppet crew to her farm for a festive celebration. Meanwhile, Doc and his dog Sprocket, expecting a peaceful holiday, find themselves swept up in the Muppet merriment. As the excitement grows with appearances from beloved characters from Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock, Kermit can't help but feel downhearted, as the only one absent from the celebration is Miss Piggy, who is stranded in a snowstorm.
