Plot

An ambitious office clerk, dreaming of striking it rich and marrying his beloved, eagerly participates in contests. His latest venture involves the Maxford House Coffee Slogan Contest. However, a prank by his co-workers takes a turn when they fabricate a telegram announcing he has won the $25,000 grand prize. As the news spreads, hilarity and chaos ensue, blurring the lines between reality and deception, leading to unexpected complications in both his personal life and aspirations.
