Plot
Ash Williams and his partner Linda discover a remote cabin nestled in the forest, where they stumble upon a tape left by an archaeologist. The recording contains incantations from "The Book of the Dead." When they play the tape, a sinister force is awakened, possessing Linda's body and plunging them into a nightmarish battle for survival.
