Plot

Journalist Fernando teams up with his friend César to join the MR8, a radical group opposing Brazil's oppressive dictatorship in the late 1960s. Their mission takes a perilous turn when César is injured and apprehended during a bank robbery. In a desperate bid to save him, Fernando resorts to kidnapping the American ambassador in Brazil, demanding the release of fifteen political prisoners in exchange for the diplomat's freedom. The tension escalates as Fernando grapples with the moral implications of his actions while navigating the treacherous landscape of political rebellion.
