Plot

John Stewart, a recently discharged Marine sniper, finds his life taking an unexpected turn when he receives an alien ring that bestows upon him the powers of Earth's Green Lantern. Without a manual to guide him, he quickly discovers the heavy responsibilities that come with this new role, including a relentless group of intergalactic assassins targeting every Green Lantern. Teaming up with the witty Green Arrow, Adam Strange, and Hawkgirl, Stewart must navigate the chaos of the Rann/Thanagar war, striving to succeed where countless others have fallen short.
