Plot

Sophie Marlow, a high-powered mergers and acquisitions attorney, returns to her hometown of Waynesbridge, Washington, after the death of her great uncle, Henry. To her surprise, he has bequeathed her 60% of Marlow Maple Meadows, a vast expanse of sugar maple forest. As Sophie explores the familiar grounds from her childhood, she reunites with Sam, her old friend, who has inherited the remaining 40%.
