Plot

Upholsterer’s assistant Irene O'Dare crosses paths with affluent Don Marshall while working at Mrs. Herman Vincent's Long Island estate. Captivated by her charm, Don secretly acquires Madame Lucy's, a high-end boutique in Manhattan, and directs manager Mr. Smith to recruit Irene as a model. As her star rises, socialite Bob Vincent becomes infatuated with her during preparations for a lavish ball hosted by his mother. To showcase Madame Lucy's latest designs, Mr. Smith ensures the models receive invitations to this extravagant event, setting the stage for romance and ambition.
