Plot

Set in U.C. 0097, a year after the events surrounding "Laplace's Box," the world grapples with the implications of the Universal Century Charter, which acknowledges Newtypes. Although the "Laplace Incident" concluded with the defeat of the Neo Zeon faction, the aftermath lingers. The final showdown featured two psycho-frame mobile suits, a white unicorn and a black lion, whose immense power was sealed away to prevent further chaos. As peace seems to settle, the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03, long thought lost, reemerges in the Earth Sphere, heralded by the appearance of the golden phoenix known as Phenex.
