‘Only the Brave’ offers a poignant exploration of the valor and struggle faced by the Japanese-American 100th/442nd Infantry during WWII. Following the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, Japanese Americans were unjustly interned, igniting a fierce desire among many to demonstrate their loyalty to the U.S. Approximately 1,400 individuals petitioned to serve, fighting bravely in North Africa, Italy, and France. Their courage culminated in the daring rescue of the Texas 36th Division. Over two years, this unit earned a staggering array of honors, becoming the most decorated of its size in American military history.
